A New Chapter Begins: Welcoming the New Leadership of the PAU Alumni Association
Every thriving community reaches defining moments, points where reflection meets renewal, and the past hands the torch to the future. For the Pan-Atlantic University Alumni Community, such a moment unfolded in the final quarter of the year as alumni came together to usher in a new leadership tenure grounded in service, continuity, and fresh vision.
The Road to a New Executive Council
On 13th September 2025, the PAU Alumni Community held its elections for two key positions within the Executive Council: Vice President and Secretary. The process was marked by active participation, healthy competition, and a shared commitment to strengthening the alumni body.
Following the voting process, Opeyemi Oluleye emerged as the newly elected Vice President, while Chukwudi Ofoma was elected as Secretary. Their emergence reflects the confidence of the alumni community in their capacity to lead, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully to the association’s growth.
The transition reached its ceremonial high point on 29th November 2025 during the Handover Ceremony and End-of-Year Party. At this event, the mantle of leadership was formally passed from Oscar Oyinsan to Dr. Onyebuchi Odianjo, marking the official commencement of a new presidential tenure. The moment stood as a powerful symbol of continuity: honouring the dedication of the outgoing leadership while embracing the promise of new ideas and renewed energy.
Supporting the President and newly elected officers is a dynamic team of alumni committed to advancing the association’s objectives. Members of the Executive Council include:
